Dr. David Waynforth who is an evolutionary behavioral scientist and an unschooling dad who ties the two together in cool ways.
Schuyler and David met in Albuquerque, in the Anthropology department of the University of New Mexico, and I met them when their children were very little, and have stayed with them in England (as has Joyce). Their family went with me to France to meet with unschoolers in Bretagne in 2011.
Twice I've spoken at conferences where Schuyler also spoken, and am anxious to do so again.
I will be paying my own way to Australia and back, but the local events will support the flights within the country while I'm there, and the rental of the sites. Start saving for transportation and lodging as needed, and planning for time off in case the only time we can get the coolest sites is on weekdays.
Ooh, that's cool, because we might be living in Australia by then :-)
